51 Digital Products to Sell in 2026 That People Actually Want to Buy
So, you want to sell digital products.
Excellent.
There’s just one teeny tiny problem.
What on earth are you going to sell?
Because apparently “start a digital product business” was the easy part.
Now you’ve got product ideas, somebody on TikTok is telling you to sell ebooks, somebody else made $14,000 selling a spreadsheet, and Pinterest would very much like you to believe the world is crying out for another daily planner.
Helpful.
Yes, there are LOTS of digital products you can sell online.
That doesn’t mean you should create all of them.
The best digital products solve a specific problem for a specific person. They help somebody save time, make money, get organized, learn something, plan something, or finally deal with the thing they’ve been avoiding since February.
Notice what’s missing from that list. Nothing about being original or having a huge following or a design degree or a personality on camera.
The products that sell are almost always boring on paper and enormously useful in practice, a spreadsheet that does the math for you, a checklist that means you stop forgetting the same three things, a planner built for one specific kind of week.
So when you’re picking your idea, stop hunting for the clever one. Ask what your people complain about, then build the thing that shuts the complaint up.
So instead of handing you another enormous list of random PDFs you could make, I’ve put together 51 digital product ideas with actual commercial potential, plus who might buy them, why they’d want them, and how you could niche them down.
Grab a coffee. We’re going product shopping.

What Are Digital Products?
Digital products are products customers buy and receive electronically, rather than having something physically shipped to them.
Think templates, spreadsheets, planners, workbooks, ebooks, guides, checklists, digital journals, printables, courses, swipe files, business resources and digital tools.
You create the product once and, depending on what you’re selling and how you deliver it, you can sell it repeatedly without packing boxes, finding somewhere to store 800 mugs, or having to make friends with your local post office.
Which is rather nice.
But that low barrier to entry is also exactly why there’s so much absolute JUNK in the digital product market.
Anybody can make a PDF.
Your job is to make something somebody actually wants.
What Digital Products Actually Sell?
Before we get to the ideas, remember this.
Specific beats generic.
A “Business Planner” could be for anybody.
But a Home Bakery Business Planner immediately tells a home baker, ooh, that’s for me.
“Social Media Template Pack” is vague.
Whereas a 30-Day Instagram Content Kit for Realtors has a customer and an outcome built into the name.
“Budget Spreadsheet” is fine, I suppose.
A Wedding Budget and Vendor Payment Tracker solves a very particular headache for somebody currently sitting there wondering why chair covers cost HOW MUCH.
Business & Money Digital Products to Sell
Business products are one of my favorite categories because people aren’t buying them for entertainment.
They’re usually trying to save time, get organized, make money or stop running their business via seven notebooks and a prayer.
That gives you plenty to work with.
1. Small Business Expense Tracker
Create a spreadsheet that helps small-business owners track expenses, categorize spending and see where their money is disappearing every month.
Potential buyers: freelancers, Etsy sellers, coaches, creators, service providers and small-business owners.
Niche it: photographer expense tracker, cleaning-business expense tracker, reseller expense tracker, craft-business tracker.
Even better? Bundle it with income tracking and turn it into a simple bookkeeping system.
2. Digital Product Pricing Calculator
Help sellers calculate costs, fees, desired profit and selling price without having to perform financial gymnastics every time they create something new.
This is particularly useful because pricing is one of those things new sellers LOVE to overcomplicate.
$7?
$17?
$47?
Ask three Facebook groups and somehow you’ll leave with 19 different answers. 😂
A calculator gives them an actual system.
3. Profit & Loss Spreadsheet
A simple dashboard showing revenue, expenses and profit can be far more useful than a 94-page planner somebody opens twice.
You could create versions for online sellers, freelancers, creators, coaches or specific service businesses.
4. Business Budget Planner
Help business owners plan monthly expenses, software costs, marketing budgets, contractor costs and revenue goals.
Bundle this with an expense tracker and profit calculator and you’ve already got the beginnings of a Small Business Finance Bundle.
See where we’re going?
5. Sales Tracker
Create a spreadsheet that tracks orders, products, revenue, average order value or sales by month.
You could make versions specifically for Etsy sellers, digital product sellers, craft businesses, market vendors or online shops.
6. Product Pricing Workbook
Not everybody wants a spreadsheet.
A workbook can walk someone through positioning, competitor research, perceived value, costs and pricing decisions.
Same problem, but different format.
7. Business Startup Planner
Help someone go from “I think I want to start a business” to actually getting the thing launched.
Include sections for their offer, target customer, brand, pricing, marketing, finances and launch tasks.
Then niche it.
- Virtual Assistant Startup Planner.
- Home Bakery Startup Planner.
- Online Boutique Startup Planner.
- Coaching Business Startup Planner.
One product concept. Lots of potential markets.
8. Business Plan Template
Not everybody needs a 48-page document that looks like they’re applying for $7 million in venture capital.
A simple business-plan template for solopreneurs and small businesses can help someone clarify what they’re selling, who they’re selling it to and how they’re planning to make money.
Revolutionary stuff. 😏
9. Client CRM Spreadsheet
Help service providers track leads, clients, contact information, follow-ups, project status and payments.
Potential niches include photographers, virtual assistants, coaches, designers, consultants and freelancers.
10. Inventory Tracker
Great for makers, resellers, boutiques, craft businesses and product-based businesses.
Add reorder alerts, supplier details, cost per item and stock levels to make it more useful than a glorified list.
Digital Products for Coaches & Service Providers

If you’re looking for a market with LOTS of problems you can turn into products, hello coaches and service providers.
These businesses need things for themselves and things they can use with clients.
11. Client Welcome Packet
Create an editable welcome guide containing expectations, communication policies, timelines, FAQs and next steps.
Niche versions could include:
- Virtual assistant welcome packet
- Photographer welcome guide
- Wedding planner welcome guide
- Social media manager welcome packet
- Coach client welcome guide
12. Client Onboarding Kit
Go beyond the welcome packet and include questionnaires, intake forms, checklists, process guides and client communication templates.
You’re no longer selling “a template.”
You’re selling:
Please stop reinventing your onboarding process every time somebody pays you.
Much stronger.
13. Coaching Workbook
Coaches need structured materials their clients can actually use between sessions.
Create workbooks around confidence, career development, goal setting, productivity, mindset, business planning, wellness or relationships.
The more specific the transformation, the better.
“Workbook Template” is forgettable.
Career Clarity Workbook for Women Changing Careers at 40+?
Now we’ve got something.
14. Client Goal-Setting Workbook
Help clients define goals, break them into milestones and track progress.
This can work for business coaches, life coaches, fitness professionals, career coaches and productivity consultants.
15. Discovery Call Workbook
A guide or workbook that helps service providers prepare for and conduct better discovery calls.
Include qualifying questions, note-taking areas, objection tracking and follow-up prompts.
16. Service Pricing Guide
Editable pricing-guide templates can help photographers, designers, beauty professionals, consultants and other service businesses present their offers professionally.
And please make it easy to customize.
Nobody wants to spend six hours moving tiny Canva text boxes around because apparently the designer had feelings about spacing. 😂
17. Client Offboarding Kit
Everybody talks about onboarding.
Then the project ends and suddenly it’s:
“Okay… bye then?”
Create an offboarding system containing testimonial requests, referral prompts, final checklists, next-step recommendations and follow-up templates.
Marketing & Social Media Digital Products

Yes, social-media templates still sell.
No, that does not mean you should make 300 generic motivational quote graphics in varying shades of taupe.
The opportunity is in specific businesses and specific marketing jobs.
18. Niche Instagram Template Pack
Instead of “Instagram Templates,” create templates for one industry.
For example:
- Realtor Instagram templates
- Bookkeeper Instagram templates
- Cleaning-business social posts
- Hair stylist Instagram templates
- Coach content templates
- Contractor social-media templates
- Pet-business social templates
A buyer shouldn’t have to imagine how your product applies to them.
Show them.
19. 30-Day Content Calendar
Create an actual content plan, not 30 boxes with “POST SOMETHING” written in them.
Include content themes, prompts, calls to action and suggested formats.
Niche it by industry and it becomes considerably more useful.
20. Social Media Caption Bank
Some business owners can design a post.
Then they stare at the caption box like Instagram has personally asked them to write their dissertation.
Help them.
Create caption banks around launches, promotions, education, engagement, testimonials, FAQs and selling.
21. Content Prompt Library
Give buyers hundreds of useful prompts organized by objective.
Authority.
Engagement.
Sales.
Storytelling.
Lead generation.
Behind the scenes.
Again, niche versions are stronger than “500 Social Media Prompts for Everyone Who Has Ever Owned a Phone.”
22. Pinterest Pin Template Kit
Create editable Pinterest graphics for bloggers, ecommerce businesses, coaches or digital product sellers.
You could bundle these with title formulas and pin-description prompts to increase the usefulness.
23. Lead Magnet Template
Businesses need email subscribers.
Email subscribers generally require something worth subscribing for.
Create editable checklists, guides, cheat sheets, mini workbooks or resource-list templates businesses can customize into their own lead magnets.
24. Email Welcome Sequence Templates
Create a series of emails businesses can customize after someone joins their list.
You could create versions for coaches, service providers, creators, ecommerce brands or digital sellers.
Just don’t promise that seven emails will automatically make someone rich while they sleep.
The internet has enough of that already.
25. Launch Content Kit
Help someone promote a new offer with launch emails, social-media posts, story prompts, countdown graphics and promotional templates.
That’s a product with an obvious job.
Planners & Organization Products
The planner market is crowded.
That doesn’t mean nobody buys planners.
It means “2026 Planner” isn’t much of a strategy.
The opportunity is in helping a particular person organize a particular part of their life.
26. ADHD-Friendly Productivity Planner
Think simplified layouts, brain dumps, task prioritization, flexible routines and low-overwhelm planning.
The product needs to be thoughtfully designed for the intended user, not a regular planner with “ADHD” slapped on the cover because somebody found a keyword.
27. Content Planner
Create a system for planning content ideas, campaigns, platforms, publishing schedules and results.
Niche it for bloggers, creators, coaches, YouTubers or small-business owners.
28. Side-Hustle Planner
Help people manage a business alongside a job or other responsibilities.
Include weekly priorities, income goals, product planning, time blocking and progress tracking.
29. Project Planner
Useful for freelancers, small businesses, students, creators and teams.
Include milestones, tasks, deadlines, resources and progress tracking.
30. Home Management Planner
Meal planning, household maintenance, cleaning schedules, important information, budgeting and family organization can all live inside a home-management system.
Again, system is the important word.
Not 173 random printable pages because somebody discovered Canva on Tuesday.
31. Moving Planner
Moving house involves approximately eleven billion tiny jobs nobody remembers until the removal truck arrives.
Checklists, utility tracking, address changes, packing inventories, room planning and moving budgets can all become part of one product.
Wedding & Event Digital Products

People spend a LOT of money and mental energy planning important events.
Which creates problems.
Problems create product opportunities.
See how much easier this gets when we stop asking “What PDF should I make?” 😉
32. Wedding Planning Spreadsheet
Combine budget tracking, guest lists, vendors, timelines, payments and planning tasks.
This category has plenty of competition, so make yours more useful, easier to navigate or designed for a specific type of wedding.
33. Wedding Budget Tracker
A focused product for tracking deposits, balances, due dates and spending by category.
Potential niche versions?
- Budget weddings.
- Destination weddings.
- Micro weddings.
- DIY weddings.
34. Wedding Vendor Comparison Spreadsheet
Help couples compare venues, photographers, caterers and other suppliers by price, availability, inclusions and notes.
This solves one VERY specific problem.
Which is exactly why I like it.
35. Party Planning Kit
Birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, graduations and anniversaries all require planning.
Create checklists, budgets, guest lists, timelines and supplier trackers.
36. Event Timeline Template
Sell editable timelines for wedding planners, event professionals or DIY hosts.
You could also bundle versions for different event types.
Career & Job Search Digital Products

Job hunting is stressful, time-consuming and full of moving parts.
Hello, product opportunities.
37. Job Application Tracker
Create a spreadsheet for tracking companies, roles, application dates, contacts, interview stages and follow-ups.
Simple.
Useful.
Easy to understand in approximately four seconds on a product listing.
That’s a lovely combination.
38. Interview Preparation Workbook
Include company research, common questions, achievement stories, questions to ask and post-interview notes.
Niche it for graduates, career changers, managers or specific industries.
39. Career Change Workbook
Help someone assess skills, experience, interests, potential career paths and action steps.
This is a perfect example of selling an outcome rather than pages.
40. Resume & Cover Letter Templates
Yes, these are competitive.
But industry-specific or career-stage-specific versions can make the offer much more relevant.
Think:
Executive Resume Kit
rather than:
Pretty Resume Template #746.
Wellness & Personal Development Digital Products
This category can work beautifully when the product helps someone follow a process, build a habit or reflect on something specific.
Just be sensible with health claims. You’re selling a resource, not curing the human condition with a pastel worksheet.
41. Habit Tracker
Create trackers around routines, fitness, reading, productivity, self-care or other specific habits.
Bundle complementary trackers together rather than selling one lonely page.
42. Goal-Setting Workbook
Help someone turn a vague “I want my life together” feeling into actual goals, milestones and actions.
You could create annual, quarterly or niche-specific versions.
43. Self-Reflection Journal
Create guided prompts around confidence, boundaries, personal growth, life transitions or goal reflection.
Specificity matters here too.
44. Meal Planning System
Meal calendars, grocery lists, pantry inventories, recipe organization and food-budget tracking can become a useful bundle.
45. Fitness Progress Tracker
Workout logs, progress measurements, goal trackers and habit pages can be combined into a digital tracking system.
Avoid medical promises. Make it a planning and tracking tool.
Creator & Digital Seller Products

And now we arrive at a category particularly close to my little digital-product-loving heart.
People building online businesses need tools to help them actually run those businesses.
46. Digital Product Planner
Help creators move from idea to finished product with sections for audience, problem, product format, research, content, pricing and launch.
Particularly useful for the person who currently has 14 half-created products and has somehow started designing product number 15.
👀
47. Product Research Workbook
Help sellers compare ideas based on buyer problem, competition, differentiation, pricing and demand signals.
Because “I think people would buy this” is not technically market research.
48. Digital Product Launch Checklist
Take somebody from idea through product setup, branding, selling system, marketing and launch.
Ahem.
We happen to have one of those.
[ADD CTA BUTTON: GET THE FREE DIGITAL PRODUCT BUSINESS LAUNCH CHECKLIST]
49. Product Listing Template Kit
Help sellers create better product titles, descriptions, mockups, feature graphics and FAQs.
Because you can have a genuinely brilliant product and still murder the sale with a listing that says:
Printable PDF. Instant download. No refunds.
Tempting. 😂
50. Digital Product Sales Dashboard
Create a spreadsheet for tracking products, revenue, traffic, conversion rates and monthly performance.
Make it visually easy to understand so the buyer can actually make decisions from it.
51. Digital Product Business Bundle
Instead of selling one tiny resource, combine complementary products around one result.
For example:
Digital Product Seller Starter Kit
- Product research workbook
- Pricing calculator
- Product planner
- Launch checklist
- Listing templates
- Sales tracker
Now the buyer isn’t choosing between six little $7 products.
They’re buying a system for starting their digital product business.
And that brings us nicely to something VERY important.
Don’t Just Ask “What Digital Product Should I Sell?”
Ask:
Who am I selling it to?
Because you could take ONE of the ideas on this list and turn it into multiple genuinely different products.
Take a business planner.
You could create:
- Business Planner for Photographers
- Business Planner for Virtual Assistants
- Business Planner for Home Bakers
- Business Planner for Coaches
- Business Planner for Etsy Sellers
- Business Planner for Cleaning Businesses
Same broad product format.
Completely different buyer.
And once you start thinking this way, you stop needing lists of 100,000 “passive income ideas.”
You need one useful product concept and a market with a problem worth solving.
Much less exhausting.
How Do You Choose Which Digital Product to Sell?
Please don’t pick number 17 because you like the font you imagine using on the cover.
Before you spend three weeks creating anything, ask yourself:
Is somebody already spending money to solve this problem?
Competition isn’t automatically bad.
If other products are selling, that can be evidence that buyers exist.
Your job is to figure out whether you can create something more specific, more useful, easier to use, better positioned or aimed at an underserved part of that market.
Can I describe the buyer?
“Women” is not a target market.
Neither is “entrepreneurs.”
Can you picture the person searching for this product and understand what is happening in their life when they start looking?
That’s much more useful.
Does the product solve something?
The stronger the problem, the easier the product is to explain.
A wedding vendor payment tracker?
Obvious.
A “Manifest Your Ultimate Best Life Success Journal”?
Success at WHAT exactly? 😂
Can I make it specific?
This is one of the easiest ways to turn a generic idea into something far more compelling.
Generic: Social media templates.
Specific: Social media templates for independent bookkeepers.
Generic: Client workbook.
Specific: 90-Day Career Change Workbook.
Generic: Spreadsheet.
Specific: Home Bakery Pricing & Profit Calculator.
Pretty gets attention.
Useful gets sales.
Where Can You Sell Digital Products?
You have options.
Your own website gives you more control over your brand, pricing, customer relationship and product ecosystem.
Marketplaces can give you access to people already searching for products, although you’ll be playing by somebody else’s rules and competing alongside a LOT of sellers.
Depending on your product and audience, you might sell through:
- Your own website
- Etsy
- Shopify
- Gumroad
- Payhip
- Creative Market
- Teachers Pay Teachers
- Other niche marketplaces
Don’t choose a platform because somebody on TikTok yelled that it’s “the BEST.”
TikTok isn’t paying your account fees. 😏
Choose based on where your buyer shops, what you’re selling, the fees involved and how much control you want over the customer relationship.
And always check the platform’s current rules before listing products particularly if you’re using licensed, resale or third-party content.
Do You Have to Create Your Digital Products From Scratch?
Nope.
And this is where things get interesting.
If you’ve found a product opportunity but don’t particularly fancy spending the next three months designing 86 pages, building spreadsheets and wondering whether page 47 needs another beige rectangle, you can use resellable or PLR digital products as your starting point.
The important words there are: starting point.
Good resale-ready products can save you a ridiculous amount of creation time.
You can customize the branding, adapt the positioning, tailor the product to your audience and build it into a bigger offer — depending, of course, on the license that comes with the product.
I’ve written a whole guide about DIGITAL PRODUCTS TO RESELL if you’d rather skip the blank-page part of this process.
Because there is absolutely no medal for creating every single thing yourself.
What Are the Best Digital Products to Sell for Beginners?
If you’re new, I wouldn’t start by creating a 42-module course, custom app and membership community before you’ve made your first $10.
Pick something manageable.
Good beginner-friendly options include:
- Checklists
- Workbooks
- Simple spreadsheets
- Trackers
- Guides
- Canva templates
- Small template bundles
- Niche planners
More importantly, choose something you can finish, list, market and learn from.
Your first product does not need to become your family’s generational legacy.
It needs to get out of your Canva account.
What Digital Products Make the Most Money?

There isn’t one digital product that automatically makes the most money.
Sorry.
I know “THE ONE DIGITAL PRODUCT MAKING PEOPLE $10K A MONTH” would make a much sexier answer.
Profit depends on things like:
- Demand
- Audience
- Positioning
- Price
- Competition
- Traffic
- Conversion
- Product quality
- Customer value
- How well your products work together
A $7 printable with huge traffic could outperform a $97 workbook nobody sees.
A $19 spreadsheet could lead buyers into a $79 bundle.
A $27 template could be turned into three niche versions.
Which is why obsessing over the individual product isn’t enough.
You’re building a product business, not adopting a PDF.
The Smarter Way to Build a Digital Product Business
Don’t create 51 products because I gave you 51 ideas.
Please.
I don’t want that on my conscience. 😂
Start with one buyer.
Find several problems that buyer will pay to solve.
Then create products that naturally fit together.
For example, if you decide to serve new coaches:
Product 1: Coaching Business Startup Planner
Product 2: Client Onboarding Kit
Product 3: Coaching Workbook Templates
Product 4: Coach Social Media Kit
Product 5: Lead Magnet Template Pack
Then combine several of them into a Coach Business Bundle.
Now you’ve got individual products, upsells and bundles serving the same customer.
THAT is a product line.
Far more useful than uploading 74 unrelated printables and waiting for the internet to discover you.
Want to Start Selling Without Creating Everything From Scratch?
Finding the idea is only step one.
Then you’ve got to actually make the thing.
And if that sentence just removed a little bit of joy from your face, I have good news. 😂
The Digital Products Vault is packed with researched, resale-ready digital products and templates you can customize, brand and turn into products for your own business without starting with a blank screen every single time.
The point isn’t to collect another enormous folder of files you’ll never open.
It’s to get a head start.
Choose the opportunity.
Customize it for your buyer.
Make it yours.
Get it selling.
Not Sure You’re Ready for the Vault Yet?
Start here instead.
I’ve created a FREE Digital Product Business Launch Checklist to help you figure out what to sell, get your business ready, build your audience and actually launch the thing before you talk yourself out of it.

Frequently Asked Questions About Digital Products to Sell
What are the best digital products to sell in 2026?
Useful, problem-specific products are a stronger starting point than choosing a format simply because it’s trending. Business spreadsheets, niche planners, workbooks, templates, marketing resources, career tools and practical planning systems can all become strong products when they’re built for a clearly defined buyer.
The question isn’t just “What type of product sells?”
It’s “Who needs this and why would they pay for it?”
What digital products can I sell online?
You can sell ebooks, templates, spreadsheets, printables, planners, workbooks, checklists, guides, digital journals, courses, business tools, graphics, swipe files and many other downloadable resources.
Always make sure you own the necessary rights to anything you’re selling and comply with the rules of the platform you’re using.
Can beginners make money selling digital products?
Yes, but uploading a PDF does not automatically produce income.
You still need a product people want, good positioning, traffic and a sales page or listing that convinces somebody to buy it.
Start small enough that you can get your first product launched, collect information from real buyers and improve from there.
What digital products are in demand?
Products connected to clear ongoing needs managing money, running businesses, finding work, planning events, marketing, productivity, organization and learning give sellers plenty of opportunities.
Instead of chasing whatever happens to be trending this week, look for problems people repeatedly spend money to solve.
What digital products can I sell on Etsy?
Depending on Etsy’s current policies, sellers may be able to sell qualifying original digital designs such as planners, templates, spreadsheets, printables and other downloads.
Check Etsy’s current Creativity Standards and seller policies before listing anything. Having permission to use or resell content does not automatically mean that content meets a marketplace’s eligibility requirements.
How much should I charge for a digital product?
There isn’t one correct price.
Consider the problem being solved, buyer, complexity, alternatives, market, positioning, level of customization and value of the outcome.
Don’t automatically price your product at $3 because somebody else did.
They might have terrible margins.
They might be using it as a lead-in product.
They might have no idea what they’re doing.
You don’t know. 😂
Do I need an audience before selling digital products?
You need people to see the product.
That audience could come from Google, Pinterest, social media, an email list, a marketplace, paid advertising, partnerships or other traffic sources.
An existing following can help, but it isn’t the only way to find customers.
Can I sell PLR digital products?
You can sell PLR products when the specific license you purchased permits it.
Read the license carefully because PLR rights aren’t identical from seller to seller. Check what you’re allowed to edit, sell, distribute or pass on to your own customers.
And please don’t assume “PLR” means “upload this exact file everywhere immediately.”
Customize it.
Position it.
Make it useful for YOUR buyer.
What is the easiest digital product to sell?
The easiest product to create isn’t necessarily the easiest product to sell.
A one-page checklist might take an hour to make and sell absolutely nothing.
A spreadsheet that solves an expensive or irritating problem might take longer to create but be considerably easier to market.
Start with the problem.
Then choose the format.
Not the other way around.
Your Next Step
You now have 51 digital product ideas.
You do NOT need another 500.
Close the “100,000 passive income ideas” tab. 😂
Pick three ideas from this list that make sense for a customer you understand.
Research them.
Look at what buyers are already purchasing.
Look for gaps.
Choose ONE.
Then build the best, most useful version you can reasonably get in front of customers.
Because the number of product ideas sitting in your Notes app isn’t a business metric.
Selling something is.
